Cartooning for Peace: 15 years of existence in the service of democratic dialogue, freedom of expression, human rights and peace.

On this International Day of Peace, Cartooning for Peace is celebrating its 15th anniversary! 15 years of actions and struggles to promote press cartoons, to teach them to young people and to defend cartoonists threatened around the world. 15 years of existence in the service of democratic dialogue, freedom of expression, human rights and peace.

Since its creation in 2006, and thanks to the commitment and active participation of its members, the network has expanded and established itself in the four corners of the planet. Today, it brings together more than 250 cartoonists in over 70 countries. Founded by Plantu and chaired today by Kak, the association is recognized as being of general interest and works to promote freedom of expression, human rights and the fundamental values of democracy through the universal language of press cartoons.

In the fall, Cartooning for Peace celebrates its 15th anniversary and offers various events to celebrate the richness and relevance of press cartoons.
