Today, Cartooning for Peace and Tache d’Encre are launching the second national campaign for peaceful elections as part of the programme “Cartoons and citizenship: Cartooning for democracy and peaceful elections“.
The first year of the programme was a busy one. The students participating in the workshops produced cartoons, which composed the first awareness campaign disseminated during the presidential elections. This second campaign will be made of animated clips of cartoons made by students and professionals and 5 media partners (Gbich!, Go Magazine, Allô Police, Le Matin and Le Patriote) will disseminate additional cartoons in their pages. The objective remains the same: carrying messages of peace and tolerance.
And taking the opportunity of the campaign’ launch, the partners wish to take the opportunity to reiterate their call for transparent and peaceful legislative elections.
