Since January, Cartooning for Peace has been in residence at the Blaise-Cendrars library in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine.
The exhibition “Dans la jungle de l’info” (In the news jungle) aims to open up a critical view of information and to understand the vital importance of freedom of expression. The exhibition reminds us, with humour and commitment, of the importance of the right to information.
Ten double workshops were organised between the young people of the city and press cartoonists.
To conclude this wonderful partnership, all the participants, their families and the professionals involved in this project are invited to a time of sharing and feedback at the Simone Signoret theatre on Tuesday 16 May, with press cartoonists Kak (France), President of the organisation, and Mr.T (France).
This will be an opportunity to discuss this experience and to discover the cartoons produced by the young people involved in the project, around the round table : “Press cartoons as a tool to educate on media”.
