Press release Cartooning for Peace and Tache d’Encre

The presidential elections in Ivory Coast are running closer, next October 31st Ivorian will be called to the polls to elected their president. Unfortunately for several days, we observe numerous demonstrations sometimes followed by violent clashes resulting in loss of life.
Based on this information, Cartooning for Peace and Tache d’Encre call for peaceful elections because nothing equals life. To remind it, the two associations are at the base of the project “Cartoons and citizenship” whose objective is to promote freedom of expression and strengthening democratic culture while combatting hate speech and disinformation in the Ivorian electoral context.
