Round table moderated by David Medioni, journalist for Franc-Tireur and Conspiracy Watch, director of the Media Observatory at the Fondation Jean Jaurès.
To mark the occasion, the Cartooning for Peace exhibition ‘Press cartoons: A State of Affairs’, on display until 31 January, will be presented in the Boris Vian space in La Salvetat Saint Gilles. It offers an insight into the work of press cartoonists, pacifist defenders of the ills of our societies, who are regularly the target of attacks around the world. This round-table discussion is organised as part of the “Chemins de la République” programme, by the Haute-Garonne Departmental Council.
This January, Cartooning for Peace, which is committed to defending freedom of expression on a daily basis, is paying tribute to Charlie Hebdo: More information here.
