The exhibition “It’s getting warmer for the Planet” is presented at the Rungis Theater (1 place du Général de Gaulle, 94150 Rungis) from 6 March to 21 April 2023.
30 press cartoons from around the world to sound the alarm on the state of our planet! This exhibition shows us the risks linked to pollution, the interest of renewable energies or the consequences of climate change. Seven themes are to be discovered around biodiversity, water, health, agri-food…
Unprecedented heat waves, deadly droughts, melting glaciers, rising sea levels, an increasing number of natural disasters… global warming is the major challenge of our generation and, we fear, of those yet to come.
Added to this are all the problems linked to pollution, water scarcity, the use of pesticides in the agri-food industry… It is our health and our survival that are at stake! It is therefore time to act and to call on our governments and public authorities to tackle the problem head on.
The exhibition is based on the book “Ça chauffe pour la planète”, from the Cartooning for Peace collection published by Gallimard.
