It’s time to let the pencils of our beloved cartoonists rest for a few weeks only before they return to their sharp mines in the fall. This summer break will not be one for the world, which continues to turn and to bring its share of tragedies and problems of all kinds: Covid-19 and its variants, which does not stop raging even if the serious forms are fortunately less numerous; global warming and its direct consequences such as the fires that ravage our lands; human folly which, for example, condemns Afghan women since the return of the Taliban in August 2021, or leads to dramatic wars such as the one that continues to play out in Ukraine and for a long time to come. ..
