Stop laughing

“No more laughing” is a cross media project on the new frontiers of freedom of expression seen through newspaper cartoons, co-produced with Arte and RTBF

Initiated in 2006 at the launch of the Cartooning for Peace Association in New York in the wake of the cartoons of Mohammed, “Fini laughing” explores this question through those as artists and journalists to vanguard of a struggle at the heart of political and social challenges of the 21st century cartoonists.

“No more laughter” used newspaper cartoons like we open a history book: to understand the issues, take distance, analyze and build his own opinion. Throughout history, knowledge, knowledge, mentality changes, technological advances, the invention of printing to the global Internet, research and defense of freedom of expression is a fight to reinvent.

The project is built around a single 52 ‘documentary, produced by Michel de Wouters Production, co-produced with Plexus Production, Arte and RTBF, and a web documentary, produced by Production Plexus, in co-production with Arte and Michel Production of Wouters.
