As part of a partnership between Cartooning for Peace and the Directorate of Penitentiary Administration, a national press cartooning competition is being launched in 2020.
Since 2016, Cartooning for Peace educational exhibitions have been circulating in prisons and more than 30 meetings with press cartoonists are organized each year in detention.
This competition offers detainees who have benefited from a Cartooning for Peace workshop the opportunity to express their point of view on the current events of the year through a press cartoon.
A jury made up of Ministry of Justice staff and press cartoonists will reward the best cartoons!
