The spectacular success of ChatGPT, the conversational robot, launched at the end of 2022, has introduced the general public to a sample of the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence (AI): for better or for worse? Awareness of the need to establish a framework for the development of AI seems to be growing in recent times.
This technological advance also raises vast ethical, legal, political and economic questions… human questions, in short, as it disrupts every sphere of our lives.
Through this exhibition, Cartooning for Peace presents a series of cartoons from all around the world to grasp the issues at the centre of the development of artificial intelligence, with humour and… intelligence!
The exhibition is issued from the “Artificial intelligence: a (r)evolution?” book, published with Gallimard Editions in the Cartooning for Peace collection, with a foreword by Olivier Tesquet, in partnership with Amnesty International and France Médias Monde.
