Since 2012, the Freedom Cartoonists Foundation and the City of Geneva have, every two years, presented the Kofi Annan Award, an international prize for press cartoons, to courageous artists committed to defending freedom of expression and human rights, in partnership with Cartoonists Rights.
To mark the occasion, the Freedom Cartoonists Foundation is joining forces with Cartooning for Peace for the exhibition ‘Cartoons for Freedom’, which will be on display from 1 to 31 May 2026 on Quai Wilson in Geneva.
