As part of its exhibition ENJEUX HUMAINS (Human Issues), and to mark the release of its latest report on the situation of threatened press cartoonists around the world, Cartooning for Peace, in partnership with the Centre d’action laïque de la Province de Liège, is holding a round-table discussion entitled “Cartoonists on the line” on 11 January at 7pm.

It will soon be ten years since the tragic attack on the editorial staff of Charlie Hebdo, French satirical magazine. Around the world, the profession is under threat, and cartoonists are often the first to take the blows and bear the brunt of censorship, whether by extremist movements or authoritarian regimes.
