Debate between Israeli and Palestinian students at the Fondation Jean Jaurès





With the association Agir and the Fondation Jean Jaurès, Cartooning for Peace organize an educational conference Thursday 8 and Friday 9 November between Israeli and Palestinian student to debate on press cartoons.

Thanks to the programm “France, Méditerranean, Brotherhood”, about 60 Israeli and Palestinian students with other students from Pavillon-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) participate to a masterclass lead by cartoonist Z (Tunisia) in order to free speech. The educational exhibition “The Mediterranean in Cartoons” goes with the masterclass on Thursday. On Friday, the conversation between students keeps going with the president of Cartooning for Peace, Gilles Finchelstein, General Director of the Fondation Jean Jaurès and François Hollande, President of the Fondation La France s’engage.
