Cartooning for Peace hold an exhibition about Energies
The “Cartooning for Peace – Plantu” event gathers national and international cartoons about energies. The exhibition takes place in Le Creusot, a city with a strong industrial history and state-of-the-art companies in this domain. The exhibition also presents Plantu’s cartoons in relation with the common theme ” art and society ” of the season of L’Arc.
Which energies, which technological and scientific breakthroughs and what access to the energy in the world ? Many topics that will be broach in the exhibition, with cartoons from all over the world.
Debates and meetings, with public and the local economic and institutional actors are organized during the exhibition. A meeting-debate led by the Arte reporter Vladimir Vasak and with the cartoonists Cristina Sampaio (Portugal), Damien Glez (Burkina Faso), Boligán (Mexico), Cécile Bertrand (Belgium) and Plantu (France) is organized on the 25th of January.
