Cartooning for Peace is pleased to be a partner of the 2021 edition of the Lector in Fabula festival, supported by the Euro-Mediterranean Librexpression Center, and organized from September 20 to 26 in Conversano, Italy. Before the festival, the association took part in the Libex press cartoon contest, about cancel culture and political correctness. 218 press cartoons, created by 160 cartoonists from more than 50 countries, were submitted to the competition. The finalists will be announced during the festival and the theme of the contest will be discussed during a round table on September 25 with Sylvain Platevoet, in charge of the advocacy mission at Cartooning for Peace, and Gigi Riva from L’Espresso.
