As every year, Cartooning for Peace supports the Trophée Presse Citron / BnF, organized by the École Estienne, in partnership with the BnF, Dessinez Créez Liberté, and the 13th arrondissement town hall.
The Presse Citron/BnF Trophy is an annual cartoon competition organized as part of Press and Media Week, initiated by the Center for Media and Information Education (CLÉMI). Its purpose is to support freedom of expression and creativity by stimulating critical thinking and developing students’ interest in current social issues.
The competition
It is an opportunity to bring together different generations and different sensibilities. This national competition rewards both professional cartoonists and students enrolled in French-language higher education programs.
Drawings must be submitted by March 15, 2026. All information can be found on the trophy’s website: www.pressecitron.org.
The trophies will be presented to the winners on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF).
