In order to celebrate World Press Freedom Day, the association Cartooning for Peace, in partnership with the French Embassy of China, organises an exhibition as well as a conference-debate: “Coup de crayon: réflexions sur le dessin de presse”.
The exhibition which is presented from April, 27 until May, 21 at the Institut français de Pékin is made of 29 editorial cartoons by Chinese cartoonists (KUANG Biao, ZHU Song Qing, CHEN Xiaosheng, ZHU Senlin et GOU Ben) and French cartoonists (AUREL and PLANTU). The topics of the exhibition are the environment, freedom of expression, politics, terrorism…
