Marseilles
From 21/03/2012 to 20/04/2012

The exhibition pays tribute to the historical events that have taken place in the Arab world since the immolation of Mohamed Bouazizi on December 17, 2010 in Tunisia. The attacks against freedom of expression during this period are particularly denounced in the exhibition : death of Kais, street artist in Benghazi; attack of cartoonist Ali Ferzat in Damascus; etc.

Cartooning for Peace cartoons are a way to go back on this crucial historical period and to provoke debate and reflection.

Exhibition organized in partnership with the BNP Paribas Foundation
