The World Health Organization (WHO) is sounding the alarm and is concerned about a rebound in the epidemic, particularly in Europe. “Last week, Europe experienced an increase in the number of weekly cases for the first time in months,” warned a WHO official who reports 200 new cases and more than 700 deaths per day.
Deconfinement has eased the pressure and vigilance of citizens. But for several days now, after an epidemic upsurge in Beijing, several new outbreaks have broken out in Germany, Portugal, Italy and Spain… leading authorities to reconfine locally to avoid contagion.
