The shooting on Sunday, October 1st, in Las Vegas, left 59 dead and more than 500 wounded and already holds the sad record of the most deadly shooting in the history of the country. The investigation is trying to decipher the profile of the shooter, Stephen Paddock, who prepared carefully his move and possessed an impressive arsenal of weapons.
The debate over the regulation of firearms sales is re-emerging. President Donald Trump, who received the support of the powerful National Rifle Association (NRA) during his presidential campaign, made it clear that the debate was “premature“.
The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution is immediately waved to prevent any attempt to change the firearms regulation, but how many victims must be deplored before this debate finally takes place?
