Epstein: the more we know, the less we understand…

On 30 January, the US Department of Justice released a new series of documents relating to the Epstein case. Once again heavily redacted and censored, the 3 million documents have already made their way around the internet and revealed the names of numerous politicians and influential figures (Bill Clinton, Jack Lang, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Vladimir Putin, among many others), which in no way prejudges any complicity in Jeffrey Epstein’s paedophile trafficking. The widespread dissemination of truncated and disparate information fuels conspiracy theories and shows little regard for the very real victims in this case. Donald Trump’s proximity to Jeffrey Epstein, without any proven evidence of involvement in his crimes at this stage, remains the burning and unresolved issue in this sprawling and particularly complex case.
