A page of 21st century history has been turned with Fidel Castro’s death (90 years old), on November 25, 2016.

A hero of the Cuban revolution and independence for some people, an ultra-autocratic governor and sworn opponent of human rights for others: the “Líder Máximo” loss arouses diametrically opposed reactions. In Cuba, a nine-day national mourning has been proclaimed and tributes to the “Comandante” are being paid in the whole country, meanwhile in Miami the Cuban exiles are celebrating.

What future for the country? After the diplomatic rapprochement started by Raúl Castro and Barack Obama, how will relations between Cuba and the United States evolve under the presidency of Trump? History will judge…
