In love with drawing forever, Yas is a completely self-taught artist. It is very quickly that he is interested in caricature and press cartoon. He sees it as the best way to develop his sensitivity and to deal with freedom the subjects that are important to him.
From this artistic commitment comes the need for Yas to share his work with audiences who are sometimes very away from his art (young people, migrants, people in prison…).
Yas won the press cartoon competition in l’Estaque in 2019.
