Samuel Ojo is a cartoonist of Nigerian origin who lives in the United Kingdom. His work addresses issues such as democracy, social justice, migration, inequality and identity, both in Nigeria and in the West. Samuel’s cartoons are regularly published in BusinessDay Nigeria, The New Cartoonist and Cartoon Movement. He holds a master’s degree in visual communication from the University of Birmingham. In July 2025, he opened his solo exhibition Irin Ajo (The Journey), which presents stories of African migrants. Samuel has led educational workshops, including at University College London (UCL), where he engaged students in discussions about the role of political art.
