Rodrigo Acevedo Musto was born in Uruguay in 1979. When he was 3, his family moved to Argentina, where the dictatorial regime was almost over. In 1992 he moved to Uruguay and started secondary school. Four years later, he began working as an editorial cartoonist for the Uruguayan newspaper La Mañana. Then, at the age of 18, he began learning art at a public school. Since then, he has never stopped creating and working in the same direction. Press illustration is his life. He has worked for more than 15 magazines and newspapers, as well as numerous advertising agencies. Today, at the age of 43, he follows the same path and makes his living from illustration.
