Piet lives in Strasbourg, where he combines the hats of journalist and press cartoonist. He fell into cartooning while still a high school student. The opportunity for him to start a small unpretentious blog in 2008. Journalism studies followed and he kept learning how to draw during his free time as a self-taught artist. A short two-year stay in Germany gave him a taste for European politics.
Today, Piet lives in Strasbourg and collaborates mainly with the independent website Rue89 Strasbourg, for which he writes and draws. From time to time, he publishes in the satirical newspapers Mazette and Zélium. He conducts workshops in high schools and in prisons.
