It was in 1973, after a succession of jobs, that Giorgio Forattini began publishing his cartoons in the weeklyPanorama and in La Republica. Since then, his cartoons depicting Italian politics also appear in L’Espresso, La Stampa and Il Giornale. His trademark, which has made him successful, is to associate current politicians with known figures, like Craxi who he dressed as Mussolini.
