Christo Komarnitski is a Bulgarian editorial cartoonist whose work focuses on themes of social justice, freedom of expression and human rights. He draws for SEGA Daily, one of Bulgaria’s most respected independent media outlets, and also shares his drawings on several online platforms. For more than 35 years, he has sought through his drawings to ‘spark dialogue and challenge power structures’. Christo actively participates in international press cartoon competitions and exhibitions around the world, promoting media literacy and artistic freedom.
