Cam de la Fu was born in Caracas in 1992. She is a Venezuelan and Mexican journalist and artist, she carries out political and social cartoons, illustration and animation (GIF). In 2014, she emigrated to Mexico for employment and security reasons . With Cartónclub, she co-directed the Cartooning for Peace educational program “Cartooning for peace and democracy” in prisons and schools in Mexico. In 2016, she went third in the National Cartooning Prize of El Universal in the animation category. In 2018, Camila was a finalist in the First Biennial of Illustration of Mexico. In 2020 Camila won the Youth Award in the International Women Cartoonist award. She is an active member of Cartoon Movement and Cartonclub.
Cam de la fu has published her work in El Universal, Hotbook Magazine, Rolling Stone, Courrier International, among others.
