Trained as an engineer before turning to drawing and illustration, Caïman initially specialised in popularising science for organisations such as INSERM, IRD and CNES. He also works with children’s publishers, notably Hachette Éducation. Between 2022 and 2023, he produced a weekly comic strip for the newspaper 20 Minutes. Now based in Nouméa, New Caledonia, he regularly posts his topical cartoons on his social media platforms. He now hopes to have his editorial cartoons published in national and international news media.
