Born in Turkey, Hayati Boyacioglu has been living and working in Germany since 1978. He has been creating and illustrating the front page of Die Brückefor twenty years. He had a brilliant career as a Turkish journalist in radio and with the newspaper Hurriyet. In 2004 he co-founded the first Germano-Turkish humorous magazine Don Quichotte. Since 2005, he has been working for the first online Turkish newspaper www.ha-ber.com, based in Berlin.
