ANT, whose real name is Anthony Garner, is an English cartoonist and illustrator from Hereford. He studied graphic design at the Berkshire College of Art in Reading before working for five years as a copywriter at London advertising agency Young and Rubicam.
He has drawn for Punch, Private Eye, The New Statesman, El País, The Progressive, The New York Observer, Greenpeace and many more. Moreover, he currently draws cartoons for El Periódico and a weekly cartoon dealing with environmental issues for the magazine El Jueves, as well as collaborating with El Economista, TV3 and France 24. He illustrated over twenty books and collaborated with a Catalan theatre company. His cartoon exhibitions are international and can be found in Saint-Estève and Saint-Just-le-Martel festivals. ANT is also represented every year at the World Cartoon Press exhibition in Portugal since 2005. He is a member of Cartooning for Peace and the UK ambassador for United Sketches for Freedom.
