Ali Rastroo was born in 1998 in Yasuj, Iran, and works as a freelance artist in Iran. His artistic activities include painting, cartoons, illustration, animation and music. He has been interested in art since the age of 8 and took private painting lessons. This artistic path continued until he obtained his diploma in painting at the University of Art and Architecture in Yazd. During his years of study, he won prizes in a number of international competitions and biennials. It was at this time that he began to take a close interest in conceptual art and surrealism, which run through all his work. Nevertheless, he likes to remain understandable to the general public in order to get his messages across to as many people as possible.
