“Cartoonists – Foot Soldiers of Democracy” is nominated César 2015 in Best Documentary Film Category !
Directed by Stephanie Valloatto, co-written and co-produced by Radu Mihaileanu, the film portrays 12 amazing, crazy, funny and tragic cartoonists from around the world. With their pencil, they fight for Democracy and Freedom of Speech, at the risk of their lives.
In May 2014, the film was also presented at Festival de Cannes, in presence of the 12 cartoonists, all members of Cartooning for Peace.
The ceremony of the Césars takes place at Theatre du Châtelet in Paris on February 20 and is broadcast in live and unencrypted on Canal +.
