Cartooning for Peace is awarded the Franco-German Prize for Journalism 2015.
In a press release of 4 May, 4, President of the Franco-German Prize for Journalism Thomas Kleist, states that “Cartooning for Peace is committed for years to support Press freedom and respect for opinions’s diversity, through many exhibitions that the association organizes worldwide and invitations to dialogue in various countries. (…) CFP’s cartoonists use their pen for Human Rights and the respect of cultural and religious differences. (…) By awarding this Prize to Cartooning for Peace, Thomas Kleist wills to pay tribute to the Press and call all journalists and cartoonists not to be intimidated.”
The award ceremony will take place on July 1, 2015 in Paris.
