“It’s getting warmer for the Planet!” – Mainstream exhibition

The environment defended by press cartoonists

Our planet, and with it all living species, are in real danger. The ecological emergency is such that we can no longer ignore it.

The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) sounds the alarm: temperatures rising above 1.5°C will have very serious consequences for the climate, for species… The evidence is there for all to see, and the climate sceptics will soon be running out of arguments.

Unprecedented heat waves, deadly droughts, melting glaciers, rising sea levels, an increasing number of natural disasters… global warming is the major challenge facing our generation and, we fear, those yet to come.

Added to this are all the problems associated with pollution, water scarcity and the shameless use of pesticides in the agri-food industry… Our health and survival are at stake!

That’s why Cartooning for Peace, an international network of press cartoonists resolutely committed to the fight for the environment, is keen to offer this exhibition to the public.

Is the water level rising? So are the cartoonists, because it’s high time we took action!
