Cartooning for Peace took part in the International Festival of Children’s Rights and Citizenship 2024, organised from 21 to 24 October 2024 by Les Francas.
To mark the 35th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, 600 children and teenagers aged 8 to 18 from all over France and Europe met for 4 days at Le 104 in Paris to discuss their rights and citizenship and to present the collective projects they had carried out during the year. This festival, organised by the Francas, which is celebrating 80 years of experience and expertise, is the high point of this dynamic process, highlighting the expression and commitment of the younger generations through educational, social and cultural activities. The Children’s Ombudsman, Eric Delemar, will spend a day with the children.
