At the initiative of its Vice-President Patrick Chappatte, the Cartooning for Peace Foundation in Geneva presents the exhibition from 21 to 26 January at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Cartoons usualy amuse but can also persuade or make people think, effects that are not always welcomed in the world.
This special exhibition has been curated for the Annual Meeting 2019 in Davos. The contributors are members of Cartooning for Peace based in Algeria, Austria, Canada, Cuba, France, Islmaic Republic of Iran, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, Syria and the United States of America.
Through their art and humour, we hope you will reflect on some on the thorny issues and cultural taboos that come between us and our ability to make Globalization 4.0 more inclusive and sustainable. Go on, it’s safe to smile
