Mauro Biani is an Italian illustrator and cartoonist with a fondness for social and political satire. He works freelance for several magazines and newspapers, such as Liberazione, L’Unita, Il Fatto quotidiano, Il Mucchio Selvaggio and Pizzino, among others. His animated cartoons are published on his blog and many other Italian sites. In 2008 he received the Forte dei Marmi, awarded to the best Italian satirists. Website:
