In 2017/2018, Clémi and the Rector of the Bordeaux Academy launched a unique project: “Approaching Media Education (EMI) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) through cartoons”, in partnership with Cartooning for Peace.

This operation concerns 24 establishments of the Bordeaux Academy. It resulted in the setting up of workshops with 8 press cartoonists who worked in 10 establishments and in the circulation of the Cartooning for Peace exhibition “Cartooning for Peace“. The students then made 240 cartoons as part of a competition, a symbol of their awareness of press cartoons and citizenship.

In May 2018, an awards ceremony rewards the 7 best works of the students, divided according to the themes addressed (biodiversity, climate change, depletion of resources, inequalities and governance). In order to congratulate them for their investment throughout the year, Cartooning for Peace offers cartoons signed by Plantu to the winners as well as books published by Gallimard.
