Struggling to survive in Aleppo

After the end of the ceasefire on September 19th, Aleppo is facing an unprecedented military offensive lead by Bashar al Assad and his Russian ally. The bombs dropping over this under siege city have intentionally targeted the hospitals.

On October 3rd, the United States broke off diplomatic negotiations with Russia. France is willing to submit a new ceasefire plan to the UN Security Council. But the successive diplomatic failures are making this humanitarian tragedy worse for the 275 000 civilians (including 100 000 children) who are trying to survive on the Eastern district.
