{"id":8980,"date":"2015-09-11T12:05:54","date_gmt":"2015-09-11T11:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cartooningforpeace.org\/en\/?p=8980"},"modified":"2015-09-11T12:05:54","modified_gmt":"2015-09-11T11:05:54","slug":"cartooning-for-peace-lends-its-pencils-to-fidh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cartooningforpeace.org\/en\/cartooning-for-peace-lends-its-pencils-to-fidh\/","title":{"rendered":"Cartooning for Peace \u201clends its pencils\u201d to FIDH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four cartoonists\u00a0from the organisation Cartooning for Peace, including president and founder, Plantu, \u201clent their pencils\u201d to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fidh.org\/International-Federation-for-Human-Rights\/\" target=\"_blank\">FIDH<\/a> in order to illustrate the actions undertaken by the international organisation of defense of human rights in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2011, FIDH has produced a version of its annual report in comic strip form, a unique way to present its work and the successes of the past year.<\/p>\n<p>The four artists from Cartooning for Peace who participated in this year\u2019s annual report are Boligan (Mexico), Plantu (France), Cristina Sampaio (Portugal), and Willis from Tunis (Tunisia).
