For the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Cartooning for Peace created a new educational tool: \u201cLet\u2019s go for sport! Press cartoons and citizenship\u201d, available online for free:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2024, the Olympic and Paralympic Games take place in France. Sport is the theme of the year!<\/strong>\u00a0The world of sport is a reflection of our society, the way it works, its values, but also its downsides: discrimination, sexism, money, doping, political issues, pollution, etc.<\/p>\n

Cartooning for Peace is using press cartoons to tackle these issues with a new educational tool:\u00a0\u201cLet\u2019s for for sport! Press cartoons and citizenship\u201d<\/strong>, comprising\u00a0an exhibition of press cartoons\u00a0<\/strong>(can be used in both French and English)<\/em>, activity sheets, an accompanying document and podcasts\u00a0<\/strong>(all three only in French)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This educational tool has been designed to enable as many education professionals as possible to carry out educational activities on these subjects. Aimed at young people in France and in French-speaking schools, it is freely accessible and\u00a0can be downloaded free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This project has been awarded the\u00a0Cultural Olympiad<\/a>\u00a0Label for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024, in the \u201cdebate of ideas\u201d category.<\/p>\n
