Women rights after #MeToo<\/span><\/h2>\n

In 2017, the #MeToo movement called for victims of sexual harassment to speak out. Millions of women from all over the world spoke with one voice to testify to the abuse they had suffered.<\/p>\n

Although our society seems to be engaged in a necessary reflection on the status of women, with equality between women and men as its goal, respect for the rights of all women is still far from guaranteed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Comprising 30 press cartoons from around the world (and Europe in particular), this exhibition looks back at women’s rights after #MeToo. As well as denouncing the injunctions, inequalities and violence against women, it offers a range of viewpoints and, with the humour, impertinence and strength of cartoons, supports the feminist struggle and the crucial issues at stake.<\/p>\n
