CFC has been collectively managing book and press copyright for copies and redistributions of their content in all sectors of activity since 1983. In accordance with the French Intellectual Property Code, it devotes part of the sums it collects to funding cultural initiatives aimed at supporting creative work and those involved in the press and books. The CFC supports CFP in 2024.<\/p>\n

With the support of the French Ministry of Justice, Cartooning for Peace offers educational activities in prisons (exhibitions and “debate” and “practical” workshops with press cartoonists).<\/p>\n

French Ministry of Education<\/h3>\n

Cartooning for Peace is accredited by the French Ministry of Education (MENE2214200A) as an organisation that supports public education. This accreditation is renewed in 2022 for a further 5 years (since 2016). The organisations offer educational activities that complement the school curriculum, in line with school projects, and take part in school life during or outside school hours.<\/p>\n

BNP Paribas Foundation<\/h3>\n

A leading player and expert in corporate philanthropy since 1984, the BNP Paribas Foundation<\/a> bases its work on a philanthropic approach guided by two key priorities: innovation and young people. Its work focuses on social impact and societal challenges, supporting projects dedicated to social solidarity, the environment and culture.<\/p>\n

\"10<\/a>11 January Fund<\/h3>\n

Thanks to the support of the 11 January Fund set up following the assassination of Samuel Paty, Cartooning for Peace has developed a website, available free of charge to education professionals by registration: www.pedagogie-dessinsdepresse.fr<\/a>. The aim of the site is to provide resources for teaching through press cartoons and human rights education (in French).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Town of Vaulx-en-Velin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cartooning for Peace and the Town of Vaulx-en-Velin have been working together since 2019 to offer educational workshops based on the organisation’s exhibitions, aimed at young people during extra-curricular time, as well as training for education professionals. Cartooning for Peace is a signatory of the city’s Plan to Combat Racism, Anti-Semitism and Discrimination<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cartooning for Peace received the Prize from the French Coalition for Cultural Diversity<\/a> in 2024 for its educational actions with the town of Vaulx-en-Velin.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Town of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine<\/h3>\n

The town of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, which witnessed the assassination of Professor Samuel Paty, has been a partner of Cartooning for Peace since the attack. An evening debate was organised in 2021<\/a>, followed by a residency at the M\u00e9diath\u00e8que Blaise-Cendrars in 2022-2023<\/a>. In 2025, the partnership continues with the “Draw me the War”<\/a> exhibition.<\/p>\n

Haute-Garonne Departmental Council<\/h3>\n

The Haute-Garonne Departmental Council and Cartooning for Peace are partnering around the “Cartooning for Peace”<\/a> exhibition in 2025.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Interm\u00e9dia 78<\/h3>\n

Interm\u00e9dia 78 is supporting the organisation for the second year around and working together on the “All Migrants!”<\/a> exhibition in 2025.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>L\u00e9o Lagrange Federation<\/h3>\n

The L\u00e9o Lagrange Federation and Cartooning for Peace are once again teaming up on a new project, \u201cTo Kplon Nou\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Et si Foundation<\/h3>\n

The Et Si Foundation supports the promotion of living art, the development of the art of the spoken word and creativity. Sheltered by the Fondation de France, the foundation has been supporting Cartooning for Peace in its educational activities since 2021.<\/p>\n

Fondation d’entreprise Herm\u00e8s<\/h3>\n

The Fondation d’entreprise Herm\u00e8s cultivates a garden of diversity and is committed to the common good. It supports Cartooning for Peace’s educational activities, in their entirety, since 2023.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>“La France s’engage” Foundation<\/h2>\n

“La France s’engage”, an initiative spearheaded by former French President Fran\u00e7ois Hollande, recognises the most innovative and socially useful projects. In 2017, Cartooning for Peace won the Special Prize of “La France s’engage”. Thanks to this support, Cartooning for Peace is strengthening its educational initiatives in schools, extra-curricular activities and prisons.<\/p>\n


\n\"\"<\/a>Cultural Olympiad Label – Olympic Games Paris 2024<\/h3>\n

Cartooning for Peace has been awarded the Cultural Olympiad Label for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024, in the “debate of ideas” category, as part of its educational project: “There’s going to be sport! Press cartoons and citizenship”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Les Francas<\/h3>\n

As a community education organisation, Les Francas<\/a> helps to shape educational policies aimed at promoting an emancipatory education within the framework of a democratic and fraternal society. As key players in the development of day-care and leisure centres and in the development of local educational projects, Les Francas contribute to local educational initiatives through group care provision, innovative teaching practices, training in youth work (Bafa-Bafd and vocational training) and support for local educational projects.<\/p>\n

A long-standing supporter of Cartooning for Peace, Le Monde publishes a cartoon signed by a Cartooning for Peace cartoonist on its front page every Monday to Thursday. The organisation also runs a blog called “Lib\u00e9rons les Crayons!”<\/a> on the Le Monde website.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>France M\u00e9dias Monde<\/h3>\n

In virtue of their common values, France M\u00e9dias Monde and Cartooning for Peace collaborate since 2013 in order to promote the recognition of press cartoonists\u2019 journalistic work and contribute to freedom of expression. Each Friday evening, on the set of the show \u201cOne week in the world\u201d on France 24, Cartooning for Peace\u2019s cartoons on international news.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>France Culture<\/h3>\n

Since 2018, Cartooning for Peace collaborates on the \u201cCultures Monde\u201d programme, presented by M\u00e9lanie Chalandon, on France Culture. It explores contemporary issues in different countries and regions of the world. Every Friday morning, a press cartoon related to the news of the week is commented on.<\/p>\n

Moyen-Orient<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cartooning for Peace and Moyen-Orient have been partners since 2015: a page of press cartoons devoted to a current theme in the Middle East and composed of 6 to 7 press cartoons is offered to the magazine\u2019s readers every three months.<\/p>\n

\"Logo_Le_Temps\"<\/a> Le Temps<\/h3>\n

A selection of cartoons is submitted to the Swiss daily Le Temps: one of the 10 cartoons submitted is published in the Saturday cultural supplement under the heading \u201cLe dessin de la semaine, s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par Chappatte\u201d (The cartoon of the week, selected by Chappatte).<\/p>\n

Valeurs Mutualistes (MGEN)<\/h3>\n

Cartooning for Peace sketches current events in the \u201cEye of the cartoonists\u201d section of Valeurs Mutualistes, the quarterly magazine for MGEN members.<\/p>\n
