Three years after Charlie: a conference with Plantu at the Jean Jaurès Foundation

Three years have passed since Charlie Hebdo’s attacks, the Hyper Cacher and the Montrouge shootings. From the 8th to the 11th of January four debates are organized by the Jean Jaurès Foundation to explore these tragic events’ consequences and how those consequences are more than ever under the spotlights: emergency state, education, conspiracy theories and freedom of speech.
On Thursday, January 11th, Plantu – cartoonist for Le Monde et l’Express and president of Cartooning for Peace, exchanges with Frederic Potier – representative of the inter-ministerial delegation against racism, antisemitism and homophobia – and the public on the theme “Three years after Charlie, what is the state of freedom of speech in France?”.
