Cartooning for Peace is pleased to present its exhibition “All Migrants! “in German, as part of the exhibition “Ninth art”, presented at the Center for Persecuted Arts in Solingen from June 24 to September 16.

The opening of the exhibition took place on June 24 in the presence of the German editorial cartoonist Thomas Plassmann, who represented Cartooning for Peace.

Talal Nayer, a Sudanese cartoonist who has found refuge in Germany, is the curator of this exhibition which brings together 20 international cartoonists in order to show how the press cartoons are integral part of art history.

A cartoon is subversive art by nature and it is also the enemy of totalitarian regimes. One of the reasons why the cartoonists are still persecuted and forced to flee their countries.

Take a look at the presentation and Thomas Plassmann interview!
