While the frigate Hermione is completing its “Libres ensemble” sailing tour in Bordeaux, in partnership with the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, Cartooning for Peace is not missing the call and offers the general public to discover its latest pedagogical exhibition “All Migrants !“as well as an exceptional conference within Sud-Ouest newspaper editorial office!

On the programme, Wednesday 13 June:

9.30am : Inauguration of the exhibition “All Migrants!”which retraces the complex journey of migrants through press cartoons from all over the world.

10am-12pm: Conference “Sailing and cartooning for freedom”

Freedom to think, freedom of expression, freedom to move… These are all themes that echo our news and which are the conditions for living together in a changing world. Hermione’s topmans and cartoonists, alongside the Francophonie, testify to their experience around these fundamental and universal values.

Moderation: Stephane Jonathan, Head of the South West Culture Department.

Speakers: Mr Ma-Umba Mabiala, Director of Youth and Education of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie; Hermione’s topmans; the cartoonists Large (France), Ali Hamra (Syria) and Urbs (France).

From June 8 to 18, “All Migrants” is presented at Sud Ouest editorial office, 23 Quai des Queyries in Bordeaux, from 9am to 6pm.
