Cartooning for Peace / Europe Day: “Decoding the stars” in Nancy

Europe Day: “Decoding the stars” in Nancy

As part of the Europe and May of Europe 2018 festival, celebrated each year by CRISTEEL-Europe Direct Lorraine and the City of Nancy, the exhibition “Decoding the Stars” is presented at Nancy City Hall, Mienville Room, from 9 to 24 May.

Created by Cartooning for Peace and the European Commission, this exhibition presents press cartoons related to European issues. In a few images, in a few bubbles, they highlight citizens’ concerns. This ode to diversity and tolerance brings out the debate around major themes, including Europe’s freedom of expression, the death penalty and European youth.
