The Brexit negotiations will start as planned on June 19 in Brussels. Theresa May will be there after the loss of her absolute majority, which she was trying to reinforce with the general elections of June 8. It is on the best interest of the UE and the United Kingdom to ensure that the Brexit will take place in the best conditions before the deadline of 29 March, 2019.
In this post-elections context, the Prime Minister and the Tories are trying to make a deal with the DUP – openly anti-EU – in order to get ten more seats, and govern with a majority. In the meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour came out strengthened of the elections. He will, without a doubt, have major role to play in this new political times in the UK.
